Use case
Training, evaluation, fine-tuning, analytics, or another defined task.
A good business-data request is defined by the problem it needs to solve—not just a file type. Set the use case, target population, date range, format, and rights requirements before assessing supply.
Use this checklist to separate a real data requirement from a broad category wish list.
Training, evaluation, fine-tuning, analytics, or another defined task.
Events, entities, labels, granularity, schema, and any required metadata.
Where the data originates, who or what it represents, and relevant exclusions.
Required date range, scale, coverage, and minimum useful sample.
File or API format, refresh cadence, security needs, and delivery schedule.
Licensing scope, restrictions, exclusivity needs, retention, and downstream use.
Business data may be subject to contracts, privacy rules, confidentiality duties, or other restrictions. A category match alone does not establish that a dataset can be licensed.
Describe the goal. Define what the model or workflow needs to learn.
Set the constraints. Specify data provenance, permissions, geography, and prohibited uses.
Confirm before commitment. Any supply path, buyer fit, terms, and timeline must be confirmed for the specific project.
MAX is being built to compare available offers for each data asset by buyer fit, permitted use, exclusivity, term, delivery needs, and payment structure.
MAX’s side-by-side multi-offer routing is in development. Real offers depend on permissioned supply, verified buyer interest, and written terms.
Building MAX
MAX is being built to help MON$TER evaluate business-data opportunities against specific buyer requirements and compare real offers when multiple options are available.
Buyer matching and side-by-side offer comparison are in development. Availability, rights, fit, and commercial terms must be confirmed for each project.
